No birthday is complete in Argentina sin comida en casa. On Sunday I invited my friends to come share the afternoon with me. Everyone brought something to share. It was wonderful.
This is my living-comedor or living room with dinning area. I was getting everything ready for my friends. As you can tell I love bright colors. How many people do you know with fuschia walls?
This is my friend Pablo. He is like my son. Here he is introducing Yuko to mate.
As you can tell I am not quite dressed for a party, but Pablo insisted we have a picture together. So now you can see Deby "unglamorous".
Here I am getting things ready for the party. I am half way to being dressed and not too happy to have my picture taken. What can I say?
Of course no party would be complete with out the Roxster. Here she is coming to check out the table and to make sure I know what I am doing.
Here is Pia, Yuko, and of course Jorge waiting for the food.
Photo op of my friends. Lilliana (BsAs) and Eva (Texas) are seated. Rennie (NYC) Janis (BsAs) and Krassi (New Orleans) are standing. Oh my more champagne....one would think we are a bunch of alcoholics.
Jorge (again the only guy as Pablo left) and Sandra.
And yes, another cake. Only I bought this one. Chocolate..chocolate...chocolate...
