There is something I don't understand about some of the women who come here to dance tango. Or maybe I do understand and can't believe it. In their country, especially the US, they are very politically correct. Militant about their rights, about sexual harassment. Equal treatment. Fine. No problem.
From what I understand, it is now considered sexual harassment if a man tells a woman in the workplace she looks nice, he likes her perfume, or her sweater. (I have often wondered, is it the same for men? Can a woman not tell him she likes his cologne? Or is it just women?) Men cannot touch women "inappropriately." This means no hugs, no kisses, no pat on the butt. Understood.
Dating. They need a man who has "more." "More", usually means money. A good job with a good salary. A nice car. A decent house or apartment. You know the whole dream. OK, I get it.
These same women come here, and all of that "politically correctness" goes out the window. Being called "Amor", "Divina", and "Diosa" is a good thing. Especially when sent 40 times a day as text messages. Being touched "inappropriately" in public makes the milonga guy warm and the American (or British, or Australia, or other European) men cold. These women preen in the milongas for these guys "who mostly live on chairs in a car wash" like cats looking for fresh cream.
Then comes the best part. They go back home, divorce their husbands to come here and live with these guys who have no money, no home, and no education. Until they learn to speak enough Spanish, to understand what is really being said about them. Then what?
Realy enjoyed your politically correct story. How
so very true! Wondering what the game plan
is for women who do exactly that, drop everything
and say they are moving to B.A.
had they not considered the Visa problem.
I think you should do some councilling on that subject! You remember me, I stayed at your lovely condo last May 09. You were very accommodating & so enjoyed our long conversations,
hope you are well.

I beliebe woman are changing, some , even Argentinians, only want money and power, but I do beliebe that women just want to beloved and protected, although they confuse love with gold and protection with houses, cars,e tc

What you tell it's TRUR. A couple of years ago I was chatting with an American woman, who was trying to leave his husband, and told what she expected from a man....Money, career, a good looking car, the ability to choose the right wine...handsome, and a nice house or the nice sum of money to buy that dream house. I couldn't beleive my ears!!!

The thing with political correctness is. If you tell a woman in the workplace she looks nice, you likes her perfume, or her sweater, it's a compliment if she actually likes you but if she doesn't it's sexual harassment. Women nowadays live a double standard and are unwilling to explain to us men their rules
